Denim — FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for denim?

1,000 pieces per style per colour on stock fabric; 1,500+ for custom-dyed or custom-made fabric. Mills dye in lots of roughly 1,000 metres, which is why custom colours need higher quantities.

How much does a pair of jeans cost to make in Bangladesh?

We publish an indicative FOB band for denim only once at least three written factory quotes support it. Until then the price guide shows the method and the main price drivers (fabric weight (oz), stretch content and wash and finish), and your costing estimate is built line by line from factory quotes.

Which washes can you do?

Enzyme, stone, bleach and dark-rinse washes, plus laser and ozone finishing, through partner wash units. Units conforming to the ZDHC MRSL are available; the wash recipe is approved on a sample before bulk.

Can you make selvedge denim?

Selvedge (13–14 oz) is on our fabric list. Availability depends on mill loom capacity and booking time, so we confirm it per programme in the costing.

Do you handle labels and packaging?

Yes. Woven labels, hangtags, polybags and cartons are sourced and attached in the factory.

How do you check quality?

Inline checks during sewing and a third-party final inspection at AQL 2.5 before you pay the balance.

How long does sampling take?

Typically 14–18 days for a proto on stock fabric, plus courier time. Fit and PP samples follow in 1–2 week cycles.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes, in person or by video walk-through, arranged once your programme is confirmed.
