How it works

  1. 1Choose one or more destination markets, the product type, adult or children, and any sustainability claims you plan to make.
  2. 2Each item is marked required (a law, a customs rule or an unavoidable buyer condition for these inputs) or recommended (what serious buyers usually ask for).
  3. 3Download the checklist as a PDF or print it for your team. It is a planning aid, not legal advice.

Questions people ask here

Is this legal advice?

No. It is a planning checklist compiled from public regulations. Confirm with your compliance lead or an accredited testing lab before you commit.

Who arranges the testing?

We coordinate accredited-lab testing with the factory and include the reports in your shipping documents. Lab fees are billed at cost.

Why are children’s products so much longer?

Kids’ clothing is regulated as a children’s product: stricter chemical limits, cords and small-parts rules, flammability for sleepwear and certification such as CPSIA in the US.
