Dresses & skirts — FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for dresses and skirts?

500 pieces per style per colour on stock fabric; 1,500+ for custom-dyed or custom-made fabric. Mills dye in lots of roughly 1,000 metres, which is why custom colours need higher quantities.

How much does a dress cost to make in Bangladesh?

We publish an indicative FOB band for dresses and skirts only once at least three written factory quotes support it. Until then the price guide shows the method and the main price drivers (fabric type and drape, print (placement vs all-over) and lining), and your costing estimate is built line by line from factory quotes.

Can you print my own artwork on dresses?

Yes. Placement and all-over prints are possible; the print method and number of colours set the cost, and a strike-off is approved before bulk.

Why do prints and dyed viscose need higher quantities?

Printing and dyeing run in mill lots. Stock fabrics in running prints and colours start at the category MOQ; custom artwork or colours typically need 1,500 pieces or more.

Do you handle labels and packaging?

Yes. Woven labels, hangtags, polybags and cartons are sourced and attached in the factory.

How do you check quality?

Inline checks during sewing and a third-party final inspection at AQL 2.5 before you pay the balance.

How long does sampling take?

Typically 10–14 days for a proto on stock fabric, plus courier time. Fit and PP samples follow in 1–2 week cycles.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes, in person or by video walk-through, arranged once your programme is confirmed.
