Underwear & basics — FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for underwear and basics?

1,000 pieces per style per colour. Mills dye and knit in large lots, so the floor is set by the fabric, not the sewing line; your costing confirms it for your spec.

How much does a underwear piece cost to make in Bangladesh?

We publish an indicative FOB band for underwear and basics only once at least three written factory quotes support it. Until then the price guide shows the method and the main price drivers (fabric type and weight, elastane content and waistband and elastic), and your costing estimate is built line by line from factory quotes.

Can you make tagless basics?

Yes. Heat-transfer care and size labels are a standard option for tagless basics; they are tested for wash durability on a sample.

Why is underwear a 1,000-piece minimum?

Basics are made on high-speed lines with many operations per piece, so changeovers and fabric lots set the floor. Larger quantities lower the cost per piece.

Do you handle labels and packaging?

Yes. Woven labels, hangtags, polybags and cartons are sourced and attached in the factory.

How do you check quality?

Inline checks during sewing and a third-party final inspection at AQL 2.5 before you pay the balance.

How long does sampling take?

Typically 10–14 days for a proto on stock fabric, plus courier time. Fit and PP samples follow in 1–2 week cycles.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes, in person or by video walk-through, arranged once your programme is confirmed.
