HOW TO INSTALL
Three ways in, no app store needed.
Android (Chrome)
Chrome can offer the install after your second visit to the portal.
- 1Open the menu (⋮) in Chrome
- 2Tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”
- 3Open Giga Sourcing from your app list
Desktop (Chrome or Edge)
Installed, it opens in its own window without browser tabs.
- 1Look for the install icon at the right end of the address bar
- 2Click “Install”
- 3Open Giga Sourcing from your Dock, Start menu or app list
What works without signal
The app keeps the pages you opened last. Reading works offline; anything you write waits in an outbox and sends by itself when you are back online.
- Quotes, samples and order timelines you viewed recently
- Comments and messages, queued and sent on reconnect
- A clear banner showing when the data was last refreshed
Notifications are always opt-in and only about your own programmes. Signing out clears the saved copies from this device.
