Giga Sourcing Ltd is the controller of personal data processed through gigasourcingbd.com, the buyer portal and our emails. For EU and UK residents we rely on Article 27 representation where required [to be confirmed by counsel].
2. What we collect
We collect only what you give us or what our systems record when you use the site.

- Name, company, business email, phone, preferred language
- Request data
- Products, quantities, tech packs, target prices, destination
- Account data
- Portal login, notification preferences, push subscriptions
- Usage data
- Pages visited, tool inputs, device and approximate location (consented analytics only)
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
To respond to requests and perform our contract with you (contract); to send briefings you subscribed to (consent); to keep the service secure and improve tools (legitimate interest); to keep records required by Bangladeshi tax and trade law (legal obligation).
4. Who we share it with
Factories receive your specification without your company name or target price until you accept a quote. Processors we use include hosting (Vercel, Supabase), email (Resend), analytics (PostHog) and AI providers for draft replies; each is bound by a data processing agreement.
5. International transfers
Data may be processed in Bangladesh, Singapore, the EU and the US. Transfers from the EU/UK rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed: 24 months. Customer and order records: 7 years for tax and customs. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. [to be confirmed by counsel]
7. Marketing email
We send marketing email only to people who have opted in, with one-click unsubscribe. We do not send marketing email to contacts in Japan or Germany without their consent [to be confirmed by counsel].
8. Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection under GDPR, UK GDPR, Japan APPI and Korea PIPA. Request through the portal settings or legal@gigasourcingbd.com; we reply within 30 days.
