Shorts — FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for shorts?

500 pieces per style per colour on stock fabric; 1,000+ for custom-dyed or custom-made fabric. Mills dye in lots of roughly 1,000 metres, which is why custom colours need higher quantities.

How much does a pair of shorts cost to make in Bangladesh?

We publish an indicative FOB band for shorts only once at least three written factory quotes support it. Until then the price guide shows the method and the main price drivers (fabric type and weight, composition and stretch and pocket construction), and your costing estimate is built line by line from factory quotes.

Can shorts share fabric with matching tops or trousers?

Yes. Pooling the same fabric and colour across several styles helps reach the fabric minimum, and it often lowers the cost per piece.

Do you make swim or board shorts?

Standard woven and stretch shorts are our focus. Swimwear needs specific fabrics and finishing, so ask us and we confirm whether a partner factory can make your spec.

Do you handle labels and packaging?

Yes. Woven labels, hangtags, polybags and cartons are sourced and attached in the factory.

How do you check quality?

Inline checks during sewing and a third-party final inspection at AQL 2.5 before you pay the balance.

How long does sampling take?

Typically 10–14 days for a proto on stock fabric, plus courier time. Fit and PP samples follow in 1–2 week cycles.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes, in person or by video walk-through, arranged once your programme is confirmed.
