Woven shirts — FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for woven shirts?

500 pieces per style per colour on stock fabric; 1,500+ for custom-dyed or custom-made fabric. Mills dye in lots of roughly 1,000 metres, which is why custom colours need higher quantities.

How much does a woven shirt cost to make in Bangladesh?

We publish an indicative FOB band for woven shirts only once at least three written factory quotes support it. Until then the price guide shows the method and the main price drivers (fabric (poplin, oxford, linen), composition and stretch and collar and cuff construction), and your costing estimate is built line by line from factory quotes.

Can you match checks and stripes?

Yes. Pattern matching at the placket, pocket and yoke is available; it increases fabric usage and sewing time, so it appears as a separate line in your costing.

Can you do easy-care finishes?

Easy-care finishes are listed for poplin. Performance varies by mill, so we ask for test results on your fabric before bulk.

Do you handle labels and packaging?

Yes. Woven labels, hangtags, polybags and cartons are sourced and attached in the factory.

How do you check quality?

Inline checks during sewing and a third-party final inspection at AQL 2.5 before you pay the balance.

How long does sampling take?

Typically 10–14 days for a proto on stock fabric, plus courier time. Fit and PP samples follow in 1–2 week cycles.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes, in person or by video walk-through, arranged once your programme is confirmed.
