Production management for apparel orders
We match your order to a vetted partner factory, run it against a dated calendar, and check it while it is being sewn, not only at the end.
What is included
- Factory matching from vetted partners: a site visit by our team, a document review and a social audit less than 24 months old
- A time-and-action (T&A) calendar from fabric booking to shipment
- Order confirmation and purchase order to the factory
- Inline checks by our QC team during cutting and sewing
- Status updates against the calendar in the buyer portal
- No subcontracting without your written consent
- Early escalation and recovery options when a date slips
What you receive
- A T&A calendar showing planned against actual dates
- Status updates at each milestone
- Inline-check notes with dated photos
- An early warning, with options, if a milestone slips
How it works
- Step 1
Factory match
We shortlist partner factories for your category, quantity and certificates.
- Step 2
Order confirmation
The approved PP sample, spec and dates are written into the purchase order.
- Step 3
Materials in-house
Fabric and trims are received and checked; cutting starts only when they pass.
- Step 4
Cutting and sewing
Inline checks against the PP sample while the lot is being made.
- Step 5
Finishing and packing
Final pressing, labelling and packing to your instructions, ready for inspection.
Pricing basis
Included in our service fee
- Production management is part of our service fee, quoted as “from 5%” and confirmed in your costing.
- The factory price is the FOB figure on your cost sheet.
Questions about Production management
Do you own the factories?
No. We develop, source, inspect and ship through vetted partner factories. Factory identities are shared once you accept a quote.
Can I visit during production?
Yes, in person or by video walk-through, arranged once your programme is confirmed.
What happens if a date slips?
The T&A calendar shows planned against actual dates. When a milestone slips we tell you early and propose recovery options, such as splitting the shipment or using air freight. Any extra cost is agreed with you first.
Is subcontracting allowed?
Not without your written consent. No order moves to a unit we have not visited.
