Pricing basis

Depends on the Incoterm you choose

  • Under FOB, freight, insurance and duty are on the buyer’s side.
  • Under CIF or DDP they are quoted as separate lines in your cost sheet.
  • Documentation is part of our service fee, quoted as “from 5%” and confirmed in your costing.

Questions about Shipping & documentation

What does FOB Chattogram mean?

Free On Board: the seller delivers the goods onto the vessel at the named port. In Bangladesh that is almost always Chattogram. Freight, insurance and duty are on the buyer’s side unless you choose CIF or DDP.

Can you combine different categories in one shipment?

Yes. We consolidate programmes from different factories into one LCL or FCL shipment from Chattogram.

Who pays the import duty?

Under FOB and CIF the importer pays duty and import VAT at destination. Under DDP it is quoted in the price. Duty depends on the destination and on origin rules, so check the market page or the calculator for your country.

Do you arrange air freight?

Sea freight is the default. Air freight can be arranged for urgent or small shipments and is quoted separately.
