Give the factory a measurement chart it can sew to
Most sampling delays come from missing or inconsistent measurements. Start from a graded chart for your market and fit, then adjust — the factory needs centimetres and grade rules, not “medium”.
GRADED CHART · EU / INTERNATIONAL · REGULAR FIT · CM: XS · S · M · L · XL · XXL. Half-chest runs 48–61 cm with a 2–3 cm grade; body length 62–79 cm. Tolerances are ±1 cm on chest and ±1.5 cm on length — that is what our QC checks against on every size in the PP sample.

How it works
- 1Pick the product, the base block (EU, US, Japan or Australia), the fit and the half-chest at M.
- 2The grade rules set how much each size steps up or down; leave them blank for standard knit grading or type your own.
- 3Export the chart as CSV for your tech pack or print it.
Questions people ask here
Should I give the factory finished or body measurements?
Finished garment measurements, flat. Body measurements plus “regular fit” leave the pattern-maker guessing.
What is a POM?
Point of measure — a named spot on the garment (half-chest, body length, shoulder). Every measurement in your tech pack should map to one.
Can you grade from one sample I send?
Yes. We measure your reference garment, agree the M, and grade the range using the rules above or your own.
Data sources and dates
The tables behind these numbers, the date each was last updated and whether a person has checked it.
| Table | Covers | As of | Source | Review |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blocks and grading | Base blocks, fit adjustments, grade rules and tolerances | 12 Oct 2026 | Partner factory blocks; standard knit grading; AQL inspection practice (prototype values) | Needs human review |
Seed values are labelled wherever they are used. A table only loses its review flag when a named person signs it off in the admin tools-data screens.
