01Style information
Give the factory the style name, number, season and a one-line description. Keep the version current: every change gets a new version and date.
02Flat sketch
Front and back flat sketches with the construction details called out (seams, topstitch, pocket position).
03Measurement chart
Finished garment measurements, flat, in centimetres. Every measurement maps to a point of measure (POM) and carries a tolerance.
Comma-separated, up to 10 sizes, for example S, M, L, XL.
| POM | Point of measure | S | M | L | XL | Tolerance | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
04Fabric & trims
Every fabric, trim, thread, label and packaging item: specification, where it goes and how much per garment.
| Type | Item | Specification | Placement | Per garment | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
05Colourways
One row per colour: Pantone reference or lab-dip number, and which fabric and trims go with it.
| Colourway | Pantone / lab dip | Fabric colour | Trim colours | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
06Artwork placement
Each print or embroidery: placement from a fixed point (e.g. 8 cm below the collar seam), size, technique and colours.
| Artwork | Placement | Size | Technique | Colours (Pantone) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
07Labels & packaging
Main, care and size labels, fibre content and country of origin text, hangtag, folding, polybag, carton and barcode.

Questions people ask here
I don’t have a tech pack. Can I still ask?
Yes. A reference garment, or a photo plus key measurements, is enough for a proto. We can build the tech pack during sampling.
Which measurements should I give?
Finished garment measurements, flat, in centimetres, each tied to a named point of measure with a tolerance.
Is my tech pack shared with factories?
Only the spec, never your company name or target price until you accept a quote.
Data sources and dates
The tables behind these numbers, the date each was last updated and whether a person has checked it.
| Table | Covers | As of | Source | Review |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Template | Style information, measurements, BOM, colourways, artwork, labels, packaging | 26 Oct 2026 | Giga Sourcing merchandising team | Needs human review |
Seed values are labelled wherever they are used. A table only loses its review flag when a named person signs it off in the admin tools-data screens.
