GLOSSARY TERM

PP sample

Stands for: Pre-production sample

A sample made in the actual bulk fabric and trims, approved by the buyer before cutting starts, and kept as the reference the bulk order is inspected against.

The PP sample is the practical contract. If the buyer approves it, defects that appear on it are accepted; if the bulk differs from it, the lot can be rejected. Do not release cutting without approving one.
