GLOSSARY TERM

Enzyme wash

A garment wash that uses cellulase enzymes to break down protruding fibres, giving a softer handfeel and a smoother surface.

It is common on denim and knit basics. It adds a processing step and a little cost, and can change dimensions, so it should be part of the PP sample.
