EXW

Stands for: Ex Works

An Incoterms rule under which the seller makes goods available at its own premises and the buyer bears all costs and risks from there, including export clearance.

EXW is rare for apparel from Bangladesh because export clearance is easier for the resident factory to handle. If a quote says EXW, ask who loads the container and who files the export documents.
