Yarn count

A number that expresses the fineness of a yarn; in cotton’s English count (Ne), a higher number means a finer yarn.

Ne 30/1 is a common yarn for T-shirts. At the same GSM, a finer yarn gives a denser, smoother fabric but usually costs more.
