Lead time

The time from order confirmation, or from approval of the pre-production sample, to the goods being ready to ship or delivered.

State what the clock starts from. A “45-day lead time” from PP approval is different from 45 days from purchase order, because fabric and trims may take weeks before cutting can begin.
