Fit sample

A sample made in the correct fabric or a close match, used to check how the garment fits on a model or form against the measurement chart.

Measurements are checked point by point, and the garment is assessed on a fit model for balance, drape and ease. Comments are recorded in the tech pack and the pattern is corrected before the next round.
