Stands for: Everything But Arms

The European Union’s trade arrangement, part of its Generalised Scheme of Preferences, that gives least developed countries duty-free, quota-free access for all products except arms and ammunition.

Bangladeshi garments enter the EU at 0% duty under EBA when rules of origin are met and a REX statement is supplied. After a country graduates from LDC status, EBA continues for a three-year transition.
