REX

Stands for: Registered Exporter system

The European Union’s system in which exporters register in a national database and then make out their own statements on origin to claim GSP preferences.

REX replaced Form A certificates for EU preference claims. The statement on origin is typed on the commercial invoice, and the exporter’s REX number must be valid.
