GLOSSARY TERM

Strike-off

A small sample of a print or embroidery on the actual fabric, made to check colour, scale and placement before bulk production.

A strike-off shows how artwork reproduces on the real cloth, which can differ from a screen proof. It is approved before print screens or digital files are used for the full order.
